Meatballs

I'm trying the meatballs again... in Fairy Grandmother's crockpot this time... of course.

Em walked downstairs this morning... took one look in the crockpot and stated (very sarcastically), "Oh, you're trying the meatballs again, huh."

And, we made these so cute single serving pie in a jar treats for tonight. Yummy!!!!!

Speaking of slow cookers, Grand Matriarch recommended a Hamilton Beach 3-in-1 pot. She says that it is great. How does she know this? She doesn't cook. Hah! Busted!

So I have been thinking about buying a crockpot. I have been watching or more like studying your slow cooker post's trying to figure out which one to get? I was looking at the cuisinart oval shape one. Any suggestions?

Go to Amazon and read the reviews before you get one. Me? I'm probably going to try to borrow my mom's crockpot... indefinitely. tee hee hee! My mom's is one of the older (and simpler) brands and I don't think they make them like that anymore... just needing the off, low, and high features. I thought that the problem was the oval shape. Alas, that is NOT the problem. It is just my particular slow cooker is defective. Grandma has the Hamilton Beach 3-in-1 cooker and claims to love it. It might be my next purchase. If I get one before you do then i'll let you know what I end up with. :-)

I am dumbfounded... I just wrote you a comment on the crockpot, and I don't know where it went.. it was replaced with the comment about the family picture. Something's weird here.. too close to Halloween!!!

So here I go again, Miss Sassy!!! At the food store they sell these nice little packages that contain meat (beef/pork), potatoes, carrots, celery, onions and spices. On Wednesday morning I open it all up and dump it in my Hamilton Beach mid size and turn it on.. That night we have dinner... Isn't that cooking????

Wonder where that last comment went... Your BLOG is spooked....
