I thought that I looked cute (revisited)

Good news! Remember the reaction to my new shirt? Well, I wore the shirt again today. I was in the work kitchen and a female co-worker told me that I look "slim and trim" and asked if I am planning to have more children. Ha!

Of course, I had to tell her the story of my shirt and the last reaction that I got when I wore this shirt.

Of course, a younger male co-worker was also in the kitchen and he was silently shaking his head. Yes, even he knew that the original remark was off key.

Another work update: This week, so far, has not been near as bad as last week was. I made it home just as DH was putting Bro in his crib. So, I got to rock Bro to sleep and sing him some lullabies before he asked, via pointing, to be put back in his crib. Yep - he would rather be in his crib than in the arms of his singing mother.

Yay! I told you it was a cute shirt :) It's always nice to hear good things about your looks instead of, "how are you, you look tired." Sorry you've been working such rough hours, hope if gets better soon. What kind of camera did you get?

We didn't get one yet. We are big savers and we don't like to spend money. I can't decide between the Nikon D40, the Canon Rebel (the cheaper one), or the Pentaxk200D (which the guy in the camera store recommended).

I have been reading reviews and I always pay attention when a fellow blogger mentions her camera.

Any suggestions? I forget which you have?

I read that other entry and it is UNBELIEVABLE what some people think is appropriate behavior.

If it makes you feel better, last week one of my coworkers asked if I was putting on weight. I looked at him and thought about how to respond, and then he said, IN HIS DEFENSE that he was just asking because it looked like I was rounding out and he thought maybe I'd put on a few, it showed in my mid-section, a little like a muffin-top.

I was much ruder than you, I just said "I'm pregnant, moron. FIVE MONTHS PREGNANT."

And he hasn't talked to me since. Seriously, though, who says stuff like that? We should banish my coworker and yours to an obsolete island filled with people who, like themselves, lack common manners.

Alright, I blame my strong response to this post on my hormones lol. I think the shirt is cute!

I have a Sony A200. It's a lot of bang for the buck (10.2 mp ~$500) but...it's a propriety and is not compatible with other brands such as Nikon and Canon. I've managed to work around that for not TOO much money, but I"m happy with it's performance and ease of use.

Aren't you glad he can't talk yet and REALLY tell you about your singing? Hahaha!!!
And I liked the shirt.. You need to get a thicker skin and don't take remarks like that to heart..
