Easter 2009: (Part 1) Finding and Opening the Baskets

Since it was such a long and wonderful day (and since it is such a bear to upload and arrange photos in blogger) I'm going to blog about Easter in several different posts.

First, the Easter bunny came to the house. The sneaky bunny hid the baskets and hid eggs and left clues to lead Lulu to the next egg. Here is his first egg (on the kitchen table) and his game introduction (the actual first clue was in the egg).

Here comes Peter Cotton Tail
Hoppin’ down the bunny trail
Follow my clues – to your avail,
if you want your Easter pail.

Brody is too young to know what to do.

Emily – you will have to hunt for both of you.

Here is one of the hidden eggs.



Finally, Lulu found both Easter baskets hidden in Mommy and Daddy's closet.


This Easter brought many firsts for Brody.

Brody finds his first Peeps.



"Will you open this egg for me Daddy?"



"Oh the joys of chocolate drooling down my chin."


Brody eats his first Peeps.

Lulu enjoys a chocolate bunny. I have to laugh that the ears always go first.

Lulu tries on the clown nose that the bunny gave her.

Bro is funny too!
