Oh, you are wondering about the pot on the doorstep? That pot is leftover from this summer. The thing in the pot is a scarecrow that is leftover from Halloween. Yes, I know, we need a new 'welcome' mat.


Speaking of mail... you'll get a kick out of this one. In my neighborhood, we do not have mailboxes at every house. We have mail 'stations' at the end of every block. Thus, we don't really check our mail every single day. I checked the mail over the break. I guess it had been awhile. Whoops. The mailman must love us!
