Audubon Green Golfer Pledge

Disclaimer: This is my personal blog. Scroll down to the bottom of this post for the golf info! Enjoy the pics from my local golf course as you scroll. Thanks for visiting!

Look! New hair!

I am a rare breed in that I actually do not like to go to the salon to get my hair done. I go because, as my family knows, we have some premature greying issues. Also, as some of my readers will remember, I am currently more than 20% grey. Yuck!

For me, I have better places to spend my time than at the salon (which is why I only go twice a year). For example, on this most recent visit, I got to the salon and they washed my hair (like 4 times) and they put the color in my hair. The colorist gave me a magazine and said that she would be back... in 45 minutes. That's just ridiculous. If only I could blog while I was sitting in the salon with color on my hair.

So, she colored my hair... washed my hair... washed it again... put some more stuff in it... let that sit... washed it again... washed it again... cut it... gave me some bangs (not so sure about those bangs)... and styled my hair.

Then, we went out to the golf course for a Bro-and-mom photo shoot. It looks like Bro had other ideas. Oh well!

He wanted to hunt for Easter eggs golf balls. He found one...

... and then another.

Daddy showed him where the golf balls belong.

Then, Bro practiced for himself.

I think that I am going to start coloring my hair at home. I'll let you know how that goes.

(Golfer) Green Tip of the Day

Take the Audubon Green Golfer pledge to take steps to promote environmentally friendly courses and player conduct. Golfers who take the pledge are automatically entered into a drawing for some very cool prizes.

Do you have an Earth-friendly golf course near your home? Type in your state name here to see if you have a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary course in your area?

Queenstown Harbor golf course is located just outside of Washington D.C. on the shore of the scenic Chester River, and has received certification in Environmental Planning from the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program for Golf Courses, a program administered by Audubon International (AI).

Great pics!!! He looks like he's having too much fun. I go to the stylist (my cousin) like twice a year as well. Mostly to have my eyebrows waxed, haha. Remember the post where I admit I spend WAY more time styling my child's hair than my own? Your hair looks great though! I like the bangs :)

ps. I finally got the videos going...did you see?
