The next stop was for some back-to-school shopping with Betty. Betty had a gift certificate to one of the girls' clothing stores and so we stopped in to help her make some fashion choices. Of course, Lulu had to get in on the action too.
Yes, these are JEANS that you see on Lulu (you know that Lulu hasn't worn jeans in years). Like most of us, she tried on several pairs. Finally, after the 5th pair that didn't fit, she announced, "See, this is why I hate jeans!" And, she vowed not to try on even one more pair. She put herself back together and exited the dressing room. Meanwhile, after trying on so many pairs I had narrowed down the size/length/waist that she needed. While she was putting herself back together, I was looking for a pair of jeans that would be her fit. I know that I looked through over 100 pairs of jeans for the perfect size that she needed. Finally, I found the size that I was sure would fit her. I pulled them off of the rack just as she was coming over to me - gulp. I said, "Honey, I know that you aren't going to like this but I found a pair that I am sure will fit (grin)!" She was not happy. I coaxed her into trying them on and they fit p-e-r-f-e-c-t-l-y! She was proud as a peacock and HAD to have them. So, I bought them. Looks like we'll see Lulu back in jeans again this year.

Great pics! Lulu is always so quiet when I see her so it's wonderful to see a little of her fun personality if film. :) Love the jeans!!
so crazy that even itty bitty lulu can't find perfect jeans. the rest of us are doomed! she is looking more and more like her momma every year!
Oh - this is the REAL Lulu - diva extraordinaire!
